Poems

smiling is easiest
with true love
in my heart
it is sunlight
felt on my face
or rainy days
always filled with
hope and understanding
faith and loyalty
my true love's
kindness and compassion
joy and happiness

One more tear
flows from my eyes
they can't take away
the pain of death
of someone we love
but for a moment
our thoughts are clear
we are healed again
only for that moment
with the one we loved
then comes the moment
for one more tear.

sitting in darkness
I find myself
lost at times
all alone within
but can always
be found here
in this cold
lonely prison cell.

The days drag on forever now, my nights are lonely. But nothing compared to the stillness of these pre-dawn hours. I have to fight back the tears at times, and at times they just roll down my face. No one hears my pain, can feel the emptiness in my heart. Tell the world I'm sorry. I want back in.

Thank you to Sarah for your note.

I will not ask why because I don't want to know the answer.
