THE MOVEMENT

"Born a black man, born to be proud.
born to stand up, and sometimes fall down.
Born to be the best
but get looked at different from the Rest.
Born to have the American dream,
but up against the odds, is what it seems."

But today, in our society, we are living in a world where
being a black man or woman seems to be a crime.
Discrimination is a factor in our inner cities. It has
manifested in ways that's unexplainable, and unacceptable to human nature.

BLACK LIVES MATTER! if you can't understand the movement or reason, it's because you have not lived in our shoes, or felt like your loved ones life is at risk when leaving home. You have not felt the pain of all victims families that was murdered by law enforcement officers.

You have not experienced the judgement of being black, or being labelled so understanding is difficult. But as a proud Black man that came from the inner city, that's been discriminated against, that's experienced police brutality, and still over came the obstacles through education to pass along, I feel obligated to speak out to my community.

It's been too many lives taken for no reason, and I feel it's time to do something, and fighting fire with fire is not the way to solve this issue. I feel we can beat them by educating our communities, talking more to our kids about the facts without sugar coating the truth, because, racism still exist.
