True Colors
It's sad to see people's true colors,
Especially when we're sisters and brothers,
People who act so hard to touch
Are only misguided and not loved enough.
That's when we all should bite our pride,
And realize the pain they hide inside;
So give them a shoulder or a pat on the back,
And realize that outside, it's all an act.
Needing to be glorified, their hearts so hard.
Only to father if you pull their card;
But it's only, let them think they've won,
Show them the love from God's only son.
Jesus bled for me so I should bleed for you,
Forgive them, Lord, for they know not what they do;
Blessed are they that know they've blessed,
Just walk away and give their anger a rest.
Remember when you do this, it's true,
Our King, Lord Jesus, lives inside of you.
