Love Note
My dearest Jeannie, My Heart:
I was walking the other morning and noticed the dew on several blades of grass. For an instant, just for an instant, my love, it seemed that the world stopped around me and there was only beauty. And there was your face in the clouds, smiling down on me. Then my foot came down, and the world came back and things were back to the way they were. But, for that instant, my love, I knew peace and love.
That instant lasted but for a split second of eternity. Yet for me, it was a split second of my lifetime. I know without a doubt that this beauty and the love we have always had for one another.
Thank you for being who you are, my dear love. Thank you for sharing your love with me. Thank you for holding my heart in yours. Thank you for showing me the sunshine through your eyes, the way you see it on rainy days. Thank you for all the beauty, my love. You always make smiling easier when you are here in my heart.
