If I don't give you my heart, then you can't break it.
If I don't give you my trust, then you can't betray it.
If I don't give in to my emotions, then I can make it.
If I trust my own instincts, then I can't be mistaken.
If I open up myself I know, I'll end up hurting.
All the stress and emotional pain just ain't worth it.
I know my word's may hurt and confuse you and you definitely don't deserve it.
But I'm man enough to say, I'm scared and I'm not perfect.
I've been down that road of dishonesty, disloyalty and disrespect.
And I don't wanna take it out on you, cause you've been true since the day we met.
But, you want more than I'm willing to give, plus it's hard for me to trust.
I'm sorry, but we must come to an end as all thing's must.
