Forgotten Memories

Once, I decided to write my autobiography, wondering if I could remember what once was stored in my memory.
I've heard stories that I have no memory of. You can't play God without using a club.
Should I take these stories and give it a try? Knowing if one's not true, my story will be a lie.
Some stories I've heard are hard to believe. Are they really true or meant to deceive?
I'm sure some are true; they can't all be fiction. Thoughts of what to choose is like a chef without a kitchen.
Some memories are stories I've encountered numerous threats. I can't count the times I've faced and cheated death.
Memories not forgotten, I vow they will be saved. Life has been an adventure like traveling through a maze.
The past that I have forgotten, oh, what a terrible shame. If I could remember most of it, the world would know my name.
