Around The Corner

Around The Corner

Differences are everywhere
Is that a good thing
That I am white
Chains grip my wrists
How is being white a privilege
Who says life is fair
Around the corner death spies on my
It is colorblind
Do non whites think we're evil
And laugh when disaster strikes us
I pray a song for those that hate
Think of what the world would be like—
If we'd not come together
God's plans are bigger than our agendas
