Dreams
We hold our dreams in the palms of our hands
Safeguarding them from the touch of any other woman or man
We find meaning in some of the strangest of places
Overlooking the obvious then realizing what we've always had right before our faces
Some things you have to put together
But usually those are the things that come apart
I prefer those things that are natural, pure, that comes from the heart
Some people prefer jewels like sapphires, rubies, diamonds or pearls
But I prefer all that and some, that's why I prefer you girl
