As It Should Be
A full wind, twisted, and turned
Leaving leaves laying where the ride ended
There a pheasant nests quietly on babies
Waiting to take their first breaths of air
Spring seems to smile
When everything is anew
Couples out walking hand in hand
Enjoying each other's company
While laughter fills the air
Ducks quack in unison
Begging bread from a family picnicking
The nighttime globe appears in the sky
Giving rest to the weary eyed
Everything is as it should be
