—loved ones felt with my never being there for them. At least for now, I will continue being the old dawg.

I love a quiet pre-dawn morning, and today there is rain. I will stop writing for now. Make another cup of coffee. Turn off the light. Sit and stare out the windows at the rain coming down. It looks cold, and the wind is blowing hard. Remember mornings at Cooper's Do Not. Drink Coffee. Watch the cars passing by in the rain waiting for the day to arrive before making my way home.

I hope today is Sunday, Dec. 1. On my calendar, it has the month of December beginning on Saturday. Also the 31st of November. :) I think they're trying to mix up the mixed up. :) The rain is coming down hard and going a little sideways because of the wind. I can relate as I am often upside down in thought.

Did I answer my love's last message? Yes, my love, getting old sucks. But it is still better than the alternative. I hope your eyes are all better now. We still have a long bus ride ahead of us.

I went to a Tom Petty concert last night. Had a good seat too. Better than the #25 nose blue Tim and I had the last time. We couldn't see the stage and it was hot that night. Didn't faze us. We had two good friends with us. Old Jim Ben and Mary Jane. The music was loud. :) Not the judge, not the warden, not the guard in the tower can steal away my memories and time. Well, time will last forever. Life the memory of my Jeannie's smile.
