Lawsuit Challenges California's Assault Weapons Ban
I do not agree with this lawsuit. Why should we have assault weapons in citizens' hands? Assault weapons are for military use only. Only the military should have ammunition magazines.
The problem is we have people who are purchasing guns from people who are selling in secret or they are getting others to buy them things like this when they know they are dealing with mental health issues or ex-felons. Question is why are you putting assault and regular weapons in the wrong hands. These mass shootings are ridiculous. Many lives have been lost as a result of people's foolishness.
Then we have those who are licensed gun carriers who don't have any sense as well. They're shooting and killing people. They get into a road rage, arguments, or somebody's cheating in the relationship the next thing you know they gun down. You need to ask yourself, do I even deserve the right to bear arms? If so, what I am doing with the opportunity. Then you have those who were licensed gun carriers that was defending themselves for as self-defense, but they end up in prison for murder.
A lot of states don't have state defense laws. Why is that? I feel a law abiding citizen with no criminal history do have the right to bear arms for the lawful purposes such as self-defense inside and outside the home, competition, sport, and hunting. Which the government needs to implement this in all state explaining the use of the free arm. You have the right to bear arms. Okay, that is not telling the law abiding citizen nothing. And it gives the prosecutors and judges to lock innocent citizens for murder when they were protecting themselves in some cases.
But these assault weapons, sales and purchases of ammunition magazines, and police style body armor must be banned. Their needs to be an operation sting to get all these weapons being sold illegally off the streets in these big cities.
