My Dearest Love:
Your birthday is coming soon and I can't help but sit here with a smile on my face and remember when. I remember all the years and all the birthdays we've shared throughout our lives. The one I remember the best is your seventeenth. That was the one when you became part of my life, the best part <3. 1963 - you were older than me then and love even after all our birthdays you're still older than me :) <3. I was on my way out the door with Morgan when I heard your nervous laugh loud enough I had to turn around and I saw the smile on your face. I believe you were sitting with Cookie + Carol surrounded by James, Red, and Bobby :). I had to come to your rescue. Of course you would have more of it and it took me more than a year to win your heart and we've belonged to one another ever since. We've had some wonderful times together and some bad, but in the end, we're able to pull it all together. Our love has won out and we still have one another. Sometimes I miss those carefree days when we managed to get by on love and a little help from our friends. When I look at you today, I still see that carefree girl at heart. Happy Birthday my love and may we share many more before we meet in the clouds. I love you now as I did then.
