The virus has finally gone rampant in this Prison. The death toll is not know by this writer.
I can see why it has expanded so fast. It is not being taken seriously like many groups in the free world.
The guys socialize when they come out of their cells for medication where social distance is ghostly at best. The guards too do not wear their masks all the time, and some of the inmates wear their masks while exposing their noses. And then there's those that exchange hug fists bumps. Social Distances is rarely observed.
We should all be isolated 2 in cell. Being fed in house and medication delivered to our door. But none of these methods are being practiced.

Goodness gracious, that's terrifying! I wish someone in there will take the pandemic seriously for all of your sakes. This pandemic really can destroy people's lives, and it's not worth gambling between safety and "usual" comforts.

I've sent letters to senators and directors over the year about this, and ah... not much success, unfortunately. I'll keep trying.

i can't help but wonder if this part of the government plan to murder those that are disservice to our country. Inmates, poor people, nursing home clients, the sickly and vulnerable. The survival rate here in the outside of the walls of prison is possible 2-3% of the population. My significant other caught covid19 last year in Dec of 2019, and both our neighbors also got sick but we didn't know it was covid; all 3 of them were tested for the flu and came back negative. my SO was sick for 3-5 DAYS AND FULL RECOVERY WAS WITHIN 2 WEEKS FEELING BACK TO NORMAL; HE HAD a bad cough and couldn't hold food or water down-vomiting-no high fever, diarrhea, and a touch of pneumonia . with everything i have read, its looking like this covid 19 is synthetic flu virus making it difficult to overcome. My advice to all is wash and sanitize frequently because water and soap kill the virus instantly. if you or anyone starts feeling sick stay in bed 3-5 to stop the spread, its only contagious when the symptoms are projecting or noticeable. The social distancing and masks have NOT WORKED PEOPLE ARE STILL GETTING SICK JUST FROM WEARING THE CHEMICAL INDUCED MASKS. NOT GOOD FOR BREATHING OR WEARING LONG PERIODS OF TIME, IF ANY OF THESE WORKED THEN THE VIRUS SHOULD HAVE STOPPED BY NOW 10 MONTHS OF SOCIAL DISTANCING FROM LOVED ONES AND EXTREME MASK WEARERS ARE MORE LIKELY TO GET SICK. YOU BODY NEEDS FRESH AIR AND 20 MIN SUNLIGHT WILL KILL THE VIRUS INSTANTLY. PRAYERS FOR ALL.
