VIOLENCE BREEDS VIOLENCE
Here we are in Florida, once again going down the wrong path, the path of violence. And yet our leaders fail to recognize that the machinery of death does nothing more than add to the list of victims.
And we as a great nation are deaf, dumb, and blind to the overall facts.
The fact is if the death penalty worked, then we (AMERICA) wouldn't have the largest death row population in the world! We (Florida) wouldn't be the leading state in exonerations from death row. We wouldn't have the largest homicide rate in the world! We wouldn't have the largest prison population in the world! And all of this says that we, America, are seriously doing something wrong! And yet we continue down this path of violence and destruction of human life.
All in the name of JUSTICE!
A flawed justice that continue to pit violence against violence. Well, where will this violence end? We teach our kids that two wrongs doesn't make a right. Yet that's exactly what we are doing here. For these state sanctioned PREMEDITATED HOMICIDES serve nothing more than a bloodthirsty vengeful heart. There is no justice in this vulgar act of killing our citizens under the false pretense of justice.
This is not a Godly act. Will we ever learn? I pray that we do, and do sooner rather than later. For the longer we turn a blind eye and deaf ear to these ungodly, unjustly acts, the more men and women we will lose to these state sanctioned premeditated homicides.
I pray God blesses you all and leads you to assist us in the education and abolishment of this homicidal act of killing our citizens.
