Alberto, your English is wonderful and how impressive you are: a polyglot. I can assure you, your English is 100% better than my Italian.
Yes, it is my position. Rehabilitation (re-education) is the only means of converting the criminal mind to being a productive citizen, and there are many scholars of the same mindset. Yes, it costs more than the punishment method, but consider how much treasure and blood has been lost trying to beat reason into violators' minds.
