Hey Wiazardmouse,

First, I would just like to thank you for giving my spirits a much needed boost in the area of my writing. You have no idea how it feels to be putting my stuff out there, and yet for months never receive any form of feed back. I often wonder if ANYVODY is even out there. Some time back, I had even quit for awhile, because I just assumed that blogging was something of the past. What, with the way communication has become so quickly convenient, I just assumed nobody even visited this sight. Back in 2018 and 19, I had a nurse-friend from Canada who couldn't stand waiting so long in between our messages, so she simply became a contact on my tablet.

Good news, if you were serious about liking my reading, I still have about 70 weeks work of stuff to include. Basically, what I'm doing is each weekend I type one page of a book that I wrote into my tablet, and then send it on Monday for my readers to enjoy. So, I just looked in my folder and discovered I still have about 70 pages left. Hopefully you won't lose interest, because in a few chapters I'll be getting into what's going on AROUND me more more than what's going on WITH me. It will be kinda like looking into the not-so-familiar definition of the word "Memoir."

Okay, before letting you go, I just have to ask what your nickname/screen name symbolizes? I mean, am I now communicating with a dwarf who likes to practice witchcraft? Before getting mad at what I just said, think of the wild gibberish you've been reading on here, and admitted to liking it.

I was given the nickname "MAZE" when I first came into the county jail. It stemmed from the type of art work I do where I design mazes, but I would really like to hear by what means your name originated.

Hope to hear back from you soon,

Eric

P.S.
Sorry if this message was a bit late. From what I can figure out you left your comment on June 30th. However, I didn't actually receive it until just last night August 6th. Thanks again.

Dear Eric,

SO sorry for the delay. I don't have any good excuse for replying, life is just a challenge sometimes. It doesn't help that this website doesn't have a notification feature.

You're not wrong, I think speedy communication has done away with the way the internet used to be. I think blogging during 2018-2019 was kind of dead. But with COVID, people returned to it. There is currently a spike in people wanting to go back to the old internet, which was more like small blogs, rather than corporate websites. There's now a trend of people, especially in their 20s, trying to learn how to make their own websites and host them independently.

Anyway, I am going to go through and read the backlog of works I missed. I dont want to overwhelm the poor volunteers printing these out, so I won't comment on each one. Maybe I will put my thoughts on some past ones in a recent one. Don't worry though, I really do love memoirs. Doesn't matter how famous the person is either. Lot's of people only care about famous people's memoirs, but I'm more interested in what people have to say.

To answer your question: WizardMouse is just a combination of my older sisters nickname for me as a kid (mouse) and wizard is just because its cool. Ever heard of a lame wizard? Neither have I.

MAZE is a cool name. Do you have any of your artworks still? Would be cool to see.

Sorry again for the delay

Hi Eric,
I know that your comment here isn't addressed to me specifically, but I just wanted to know that there are people (like me) who enjoy reading your posts (as Mouse from the previous comment mentioned, the website doesn't have a notification feature, which is a bit annoying.)! Keep writing, if it's something you enjoy - I'd love to read!
