Hey Italianguy,
Sorry, if you are receiving this reply rather late, but I just received your message on my tablet last night (8 - 6 - 25). And by the date that is shown on your message it looks like you put it on there on the 2nd of July. Whew! That's quite a wait.
Well, I must admit that was one heck of a history lesson you supplied for me, regarding Galileo. You had far more information than my big fat dictionary had to say, and even more than my astronomy book had to share. He was definitely an important individual for those of us who enjoy the subject of astronomy -- no doubt about that.
I was glad to see that you are enjoying the stories I have to share. Basically, what I'm doing is taking one page a week from a memoir that I wrote and typing it into my blog, so my readers will have a little something different each week. What most readers don't realize is the pleasure that a writer will enjoy when he hears that he has made his audience happy. So thanks for the emotional boost.
Well, you are definitely correct in thinking that communicating with someone in prison would bring about some relief. To be living this life of always being around the same guys (and they aren't even the type of guys I would want to be around in the free world) can get very frustrating after awhile. That's why I am always elated when I turn on my tablet and it gives the message that I've received mail. It's kind of like a form of escape for my mind, to just be able to communicate with civilized human beings. I know that for you free people it can be used as an opportunity to do some venting (to unburden oneself of a strong repressed emotion) with someone who you know you'll never have to meet face to face. So all in all, it's definitely a win-win situation. I appreciate you making the first step to make this possible.
So, it's been a little tough the last couple of times to get a picture of just what kind of individual I'm talking with. I'll admit, I know that you live in Italy, and you're probably not extravagantly rich. I could tell by the tone of your voice when you said that, "Only the rick people can afford to buy a Lamborghini." So tell me a little more about yourself. Have you only lived in Italy? Are you married? Any kids? How old are you? What is YOUR favorite car, and what type do you actually have?
I'm always in the mood to communicate, so don't ever hesitate to leave a message.
Hope to hear back from you soon,
Eric
