You're so right, it sure HAS been awhile! Dang life, always happening like that!! :) Gosh, I don't even recal where we left off. Just that you were studying stuffs and things and felt impelled to talk with me about some of it. :) So-Ph.D. in Anthropology? Cool- hook me up! I'm taking an anthro class this coming semster myself. Lookimg forward to it... or would be, but the level of censorship and obstruction this prison has benn engaging in to present inmate students from reading anything a specific censor finds off-putting has become truly oppressive. Demoralizing. So I guess ruminating on that? :( Maybe gonna file a lawsuit on the issue this year, but thta's a daunting task, too. fighting power, on oes own, is a terribly desolate pursuit.
I'd like to hear more about the South Korea single mothers' struggles. I hadn't even known it was an issue - tell me more?
Im helping form a 2026 prison abolition study group as an inside organizer. Should be fun! I'll keep you posted (it'a an inside/outside group by Flying Over Walls).
