Goals and Objectives
S. T. I. C. H. E. S is a foundation designed to help support, rehabilitation save, and direct "cutters", Self mutilators and psychiatric individuals of related mental illnesses cognitive behavior, human
potential,alternative solutions to crisis management in coping skills, mental health awareness, and transitions to a new life.
Founder
Andrew Perales- a former suicidal convicted felon who battled self- mutilation, addiction, suicide attempts, suicidal thoughts, mental illness, and his rock bottom.
Was homeless, a child runaway, beaten, abandoned, abused imprisoned divorced, disowned, yet survived.
Has continued to stand strong and accomplish the greater things in life. livings proof we can struggle, endure and succeed....... all through the love and grace of our almighty God.
Note: S.T.I.T.C.H.E.S. is a foundation im trying to organize and would love to get started. i would try to establish a website and open it to this community of individual to blog and chat among each other as well as including the goals and objectives, but incarceration prevents and hinders.
any contributors, donations, advice, wisdom, knowledge expertise on trying to achieve the organization and start to this foundation will be greatly appreciate and humbly accepted. This is a non-profit and all will be used to further the foundations reconizition to society, expand, widen the amount of people we could help, and anything that needs to be done to keep the foundation running progressively.

Anyone reading this or knows of an individual who is depressed, suicidal, self-mutilator, or is experiencing mental illness and needs help please direct them to a counsellor for immediate attention, or for further assistance of general help, please direct them to the address below. I've lived their traumatic experiences and can relate to so much. I'm one of them and I've recovered, plus moved on to a successful life.

I strongly believe in my heart and mind that I could help people change their lives and behaviour for the greater good by simply sharing my testimony, life experiences, and knowledge as well as wisdom in these areas. I will be publicly speaking on the topics addressed. I will also continue my higher education in these fields to better help myself and others.

If your a self mutilator or an individual who is depressed and dealing with suicidal thoughts or an event you consider devastating and are in need to talk to someone in confidentiality, or just looking to befriend, and interested in penmanship, please write to the address below. Know you are not alone and your story matters to me, your important and your life matters to me. I feel your pain and I can help you through your struggles. Your secrets are safe with me. Your pain is real and my help is real. The hope I give is real and you need to know rescue and freedom is possible. The first step to recovery is the hardest to take and it's worth it. Your worth fighting for and change is possible. I did it, and I believe I can help you do it to. This is not the end of your story: it's only the beginning.

I will be home in 11 months. Phone numbers and other forms of communication will be available and provided. I discharge 3-18-2012 and will be home on that date.

As a Psychology student I know these are significant problems which are magnified within the prison system. I'm glad to hear that you were able to overcome these destructive ways of dealing with your pain. The mind is incredibly powerful. I applaud you for reaching out to help others and would love to hear if you have remained on this path since your release.

Try snapping a rubber band on your wrist instead of cutting yourself.
