I'm shocked, stunned, in disbelief, amazed and honored. You've been looking for me? Wow! I have often wondered over these many years what happened to you, how your life turned out, and even if you remembered me. I've always reminisced fondly of those innocent and carefree days of rollerskating, skateboarding, trying to play your electric guitar, and smooching with our girlfriends.
However, please don't blame yourself. I'm the only one to blame. Greed for fast cash, poor decisions, and not considering the consequences are all my fault.
I accept my current station as inmate D-67547, am thankful for the blessings that I have, and am knocked down flat by the rare miracle — you finding me is a perfect example.
It is my hope that you will snail-mail me so that we can catch up — and congratulations on your nuptials. She must be an incredible lady to have captured your heart among the many who have crossed your path.
