Blog #4

I am an Alaskan prisoner at a private for-profit Cornell/Geo Group Contract Facility in Hudson, Colorado. Over 800 of us from Alaska were brought to this facility from a CCA (Corrections Corporation of America in Eloy, Arizona) due to CCA losing the contract to Cornell Companies.

This facility, as with all private for-profit facilities, is very corrupt, this facility more so than others. Everything about this Hudson Correctional Facility—from the purchasing of the property, to the bringing of the Alaska D.O.C. prisoners to it—was corruptly and illegally done due to wealth and greed by extremely corrupt investors and political figures. A great many of the investors are none other than D.O.C. employees who use family members and friends to corruptly invest in private operations such as this.

This facility is nothing but a privately operated torture camp. The employees at this facility are nothing but private citizens with private citizen rights; they are not sworn-to-oath correctional officers of any government. Me and a very large percentage of the Alaska D.O.C. prisoners at this corrupt facility are not supposed to be here due to our custody and security levels being maximum.

I have included news reports and other paperwork over the corruption at this illegally operated facility.
