And Jesus was a man acquainted with death, so when my mother-in-law, Ms. Gail Rena Booker died: Jesus wept! (John 11:35).
Can you imagine that? God cries for us & with us! My fiancé, me, & our family experienced the grief & sorrows that life & living it will eventually bring us all... DEath (HEB 9:27).
We all have an appointed time to pass from this life to the next (AMEN).
So when we lost our loved one we understood that this was Gods' will. We cried & I am here to thank my heavenly Father for the miracle of tears!
Did you ever notice how a good cry makes you feel a whole lot better afterwards?
I THANK GOD THAT I AM FEARFULLY & WONDERFULLY MADE WITH THE ABILITY TO CRY!!! AMEN.
Though death is part of life it gets harder & harder to accept, especially as our loved ones die (before what we believe to be their time).
AND JESUS DYING AT 33 SHOWS US THE BREVITY OF LIFE...
As you share in our loss, know that Jesus does too! Hebrews 4:14 & 15 remind us that "...we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, JESUS THE SON OF GOD, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities..."
He felt our pain... & sorrow. John 16:22 reads..."And you now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, & your heart shall rejoice, & your joy no man takes from you."
O sorrow...
When I think of you (sorrow) a favourite scripture comes to mind - "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; & there Shall be NO MORE DEATH, NEITHER SORROW, NOR CRYING, NEITHER SHALL THERE BE ANY MORE PAIN: for the former (hurtful) things are passed way." Rev 21:4
Dear Tikiya & Brittany;
Jesus says & wipe those tears & hold on!!! Smile. The day will spring forth where we shall possess everlasting joy & sorrow & sighing shall flee away. Isaiah 35:10
Let your hearts safely trust in the Lords' promises, that one sweet day we will be able to enjoy the joy of a life that includes no pain. Amen. Can you imagine that? I can't, but I can hardly wait to experience it.
(Smile).
Praise God for the life your mother lived. She pled the blood of Jesus now her relationship with God is all that it was created to be
Amen...
Right now! young Gail is in the cool of the garden of Eden; (Heaven)., finally being Gods' daughter with no physical roadblocks, if you will. Bet when she got there she ran & jumped in his arms yelling, "Daddy!!! DADDY!!!!!" Meanwhile she smothering Jesus with hugs & kisses. Jesus put her down & held her by both arms. Looking her in those beautiful eyes, blushes!!!
Jesus smiles & replies ever so gently,
"I LOVE YOU GAIL. I ALWAYS HAVE...WELCOME BACK!!!"
Gail blushed!!!
In closing I pray that we find peace in God. Hug his promises, that "He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on the Lord." Isiah 26:3
But remember as you all draw nearer in yall time of need, may God bless yall souls (collectively & individually) & give yall "beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning & the garments of praise for the spirit of heaviness" Isaiah 6:13
Amen.
Love always ....Marcus
