I would like this letter to go out to all our troops sending overseas to their friends and family at home. I support your marvelous duties: you who lay your lives down for us, every day protecting this great land in which we live. I salute you.
With Father's Day approaching, I would like to thank all the fathers in the military. I grew up without a father so I emphasize the need for all our fathers in the military to come home safe.
Your duties are important to all of us. Every day, you risk your lives for this great nation. Many of you have given your lives, and I would like to salute those who have fallen as well as those who continue to fight.
For all our troops everywhere, God bless and come home safe.
