ASSERTING CONTROL OF MY OWN REPRESENTATION

As I address this blog to you members sitting on my court of public opinion. I am mindful of having the freedom to assert control of my representation before you. This is me – it’s who I am – no pretense – it’s my story being told by me, and I am inviting you to become involved in it – I am asking you to judge me, and the facts I present before you. I believe my life and freedom rest in the power of this courts verdict – as this is my appeal of last resort to overcome the miscarriage of justice that has haunted me for 30 years – as an innocent indigent unjustly convicted of premeditated murder and sentenced to death. The State of Florida appointed attorneys to represent me throughout the appellate process – I intend to present evidence before this court showing all of the attorneys appointed to represent me, abuse two loopholes in the law. Allowing them to suppress and oppress their own misconduct in obstructing justice though denying me the representation of the facts showing I did not receive a fair and impartial trial. The two loopholes in the law I am pertaining to in essence state – those convicted of a capital crime do not have the right to self representation on appeal – nor are they entitled to effective representation of counsel. These loopholes in the law leave the door open – inviting abuse through violation of the integrity of the law to enter. Because they place the fate of the indigent and innocent solely in the hands of the attorneys forced on them. In my case these loopholes in the law reveal a faction within Florida’s legal community who are not only guilty of abusing and violating the integrity of the law, but complicit in the criminal enterprise of racketeering to capitalize off of Florida’s 51 million dollar a year capital punishment scheme. These are strong allegations, and I will use this blog to bring out the evidence to support them in detail. Once this court of public opinion understands how the failure to bring the five trial level

attorneys forward to address the irreparable prejudice the withheld favorable evidence had in denying a fair and impartial trial. It will be easier for this court to understand and to weigh the evidence I present of racketeering by a faction within Florida’s legal community = BECAUSE THEY NO LONGER HAVE THE POWER OR CONTROL OF HOW I AM REPRESENTED …

Respectfully
Milo Rose

Hello Milo/Siyu, One Eagle,
I'm reading your blog for the first time. It's June 15 and your blog is posted June 13. I hope a lot of people read your writings and respond to you as you continue your decades long effort to receive justice from FL's system. Keep up your spirits and good work.
Blessings to you,
Br. Jim, Tampa

I hope you are doing well lately with the depression, as well as you can be anyway due to the circumstances. I would be upset too. I am even upset at your situation with/for you. As people should be upset at such! I once had issues with major depressive disorder where bouts of depression can come over you for maybe a few days or even a year entirely and you dont want to do anything but go numb or get upset because you feel so out of control of everything. Then it passes. since it was an actual diagnosis, Im sure Im just going thru a time when its passed on and not hanging over my head but God forbid it return I at least hope it moves on quickly. I have read major depression is worse than the well known bipolar disorder where one is happy one second upset the next etc. Please do all you can do to stay positive, although I know its hard. I truly do know. More than you would imagine even though I was just born the same year you went to court. I just want you to know you do have readers on your side and who think of you and wish you the best. Ive added a few new readers for you, thankfully. I hope they will send you their comments/thoughts. Please take care of yourself, although its hard for me to send best wishes as I know Id feel the same as you in the situation you are in. We sound alot alike. I understand and however will admit, I dont want to know what my depression/upsetting feelings would be like if I had lived with injustice for so long. I admire your strength, please never forget this and know that. Much Love, CC

Hi One Eagle (Milo)

I think all of your blog posts are now up to date, having just transcribed 'Asserting Control of My Own Representation' which was uploaded on to the Between the Bars website on 13 June 2012. I'll double check next week to make sure.

In the top left hand corner of your handwritten pages I've noticed there is often a figure, which I'm assuming is the order in which they were originally written and should be read. The problematic post, 'Creating the Perfect Eyewitness - Part Two' however, is annotated 5 in the margin and is followed with 'Creating the Perfect Eyewitness - Part Three' which is annotated 6. Part Two ends half way through a sentence, so I don't think it's complete.

I've been trying to figure out if a page is missing, and where it might be on the website but having searched, I can't find anything that makes sense to me.

I've printed off a copy of your posts in that series, as well as the transcripts, and I'll post them to you on Monday, airmail. I would think it would be at least a week to ten days before it might arrive, so if you haven't received them by Friday 23 May, please post a message accordingly.

With kind regards
Lavender

PS Thanks for th messages - it means I know mine are getting to you.
