I am glad to say that I was able to give some guidance to that young man. Since that time I have sent him several letters through my sister and I am told that he is doing good; he continually asks about me and my programs. He has forsaken his aspirations of being a gangmember and is doing his best to curb his appetite for drugs, drink and the criminal lifestyle.
I know it will not be easy but it will be doable with some hard work and positive motivation. I want to thank you for asking about this young man and know that I will keep you posted on his outcome.
