Dear Readers,

Howdy!

Well, it'll be 3 weeks tomorrow since I was locked in the Hold for NOTHING - a lie told by another inmate. Today for the first time, I was finally interviewed by SIS (the investigative staff). After 3 weeks. He even said that he hadn't planned on meeting with me today, but happened to be here so he did it anyway. In other words, it could have taken even longer. I told him the same exact thing that I had already told them in my staff email 2 days before I was locked up. All this could have been avoided if anyone had done their job + questioned me 3 weeks ago instead of locking me up. These people are lazy + just don't give a shit. As it is, he still said he'd see me again next week even though he said he thought he could clean things up. So, I'll probably be in here 2 more weeks.

As it is, I still don't have my property. Since I have legal cases going on, I can't work on anything without my files + even though I put in a request to visit the law library, I haven't been allowed to go.

In connection with that, 2 days ago I received a notice from the court that the BOP had filed a Motion to Dismiss in a case I filed about some bogus "shots" I got at [?]-Rochester. (One was for a shot I got when a CO said I refused to get up while I was squatting in a hall after pill line waiting for a "move" (he lied) + another was for helping a blind man with his email. (Yes, really).

Anyway, as I was writing the above paragraph, they delivered the mail + I finally got the BOP's motion. Now they're supposed to mail me a copy the day they file their motion = not wait until after I've already heard from the court. This is the 2nd time they've done that. It's no mistake. They're waiting so I can't file an opposing motion until after the court rules. They aren't supposed to do that.

Well...how about I describe conditions in the Hole?

Ok, first of all, the CO was decent enough to walk me to the Hole of the "I" (my prison) sans cuffs. At the door, though, you're cuffed behind your back. You're then taken to the showers (a cubicle with cell bars) + locked in. They take off your cuffs + you strip naked + are subjected to a visual search. (Flip your ears, turn around, bend over, etc.) They then give you SHU clothes. (SHU = [?] Housing Unit/Segregation) which are usually all orange. You're re-cuffed + then taken to your cell.

You go into the cell cuffed. They then open the tray slot in the door, which for me is lower groin level (I'm tall), + you bend over + put your hands thru the tray a lot backwards + they take off your cuffs. They pass your food trays for all meals thru this tray a lot + can sometimes rush you to pick them up.

I was lucky to get a cool CO who brought me the book cart after I asked. Some guys are total assholes + you have to just sit in the cell with nothing.

Ok, the "Annex", the SHU at the "I", doesn't have cells with showers as they do have at the "low" [??]. So, they only take you to shower on Mon, Wed + Fri and then change out your clothes. Since I got the Fri. afternoon, I was stuck until Monday,

There's not much else to it. I did have one CO look for my radio (thank Goddess) + bring it to me from my property. I have 6 bags of property - large army-type duffle bags. They always have a cow about that, but I have a lot of legal work. That doesn't include my yarn in my Rec Locker.

Oh, also they allow you Rec for an hour on M-F which amounts to spending an hour locked in a cage outside. I pass on that.

I already mentioned the process of being moved from the "I" to the "Low" in my last posting. So have I [?]. I am grateful to have a shower in the cell here, they give you 3 changes of clothes here + give you a laundry bag which they pick up on Thurs + Sun + return the following day. There's a very very limited commissary list which they pick up on Tues + deliver on Wed. You have to request to visit the law library + get on a list + hope. Anytime you leave the cell you're cuffed before they open the doors - even when you're being released from SHU.

And I have to go thru all this the same as guys who violated some rule even though I did nothing + have not been charged. Prayers are welcome.
