The California Prison News Front

Recently I filed an inmate grievance because the prison's (SATF) hospital was filthy, especially in the hallways & where inmates slept in psych wards.

I was interviewed by a sergeant of the hospital. His demeanor was - what I refer to as gangster (mean & nasty). He threatened me to cancel the appeal & of course I refused.

In the appeal I referred to the hospital as "appalling". The sergeant couldn't help himself to use the same words toward me. He also used other derogatory words to prompt me to respond in a like manner. In closing the interview he stated - perhaps I should get you to clean it. And I volleyed a little of my own sarcasm. "It's your job".

One would have thought it was the 4th of July as his face changed many colors in seconds. Needless to say little Hitler granted the appeal.
