9/10/2012 The (CDCR) Removed all books from this segregated unit_ known as Corcoran Shu, and they did not give in mates a reason why the mandated by law book program ceased. Its hard enough being in prison, but being in Solitary Confinement without reading material ignites emotional twisters. Books offer an inmate a brief window of humanity. But that window in now shut. The Department of Corrections own Rules & Regulations in their title is-Artical "3" Libary states as follows.

(a)Each warden shall ensure a library, law library and related services are maintained at the benefit of all inmates in their facility, including those inmates confined to segregated housing units. You can help us restore this program by writing to our warden I really don't believe our warden is aware we have no books. Thank you.
