It's not funny at all, your advantage in the free world becomes disadvantage in prison. To be honest, I guess neither violence nor so-called love/sex can make you safe. Sorry, I don't know what American prison looks like, like in Prison Break, O.Z.? But I am not in favor of violence. I think what you need is a peaceful heart. Since you have studied so much on religious, might you will agree with me, only inside peace can make you safe, and free.

Dear Christopher, Very touched by your story...a man who went to prison for a few years ends up for many times more years. All because you tried to protect a fellow inmate from a brutal beating (says wikapedia). You seem strong, blessed, and very much in control. I see much I admire in you core strength. I do not advocate your violence, but must say it seems obvious that you did it to protect a fellow human being and for that you deserve a metal of honor. How is my Prince doing, I got your card today and it was a surprise because I knew you didn't have any money but don't worry give me a couple of weeks and I will send you a little something. I had a breakdown today, I will read the scripture you suggested and I know God don't make mistakes but that doesn't mean it won't hurt. I love all of the grandkids but a few of them hold a special spot in my heart and he was one of them. The ones that lived with me and I held and they slept with me and I nurtured as if they were my own birthed children. My heart is heavy and I can't stop crying, it feels like a part of me is gone. I keep hearing him say grandma just one more please: talking about the nacho's from the store he loved them and everytime he came over he would probably eat them until he got sick if I let him. I keep remembering getting up at night to make sure he was breathing ok and if he need to use his machine. I know in time I will be alright but for now, I grieve for my baby. Don't worry I need to grieve to be alright. I thank God for our time together and I wished it was more, I also thank Him for all of you. I thank Him for his son Jesus and for all of His goodness and mercy. I just wanted to send you something for the holiday season for you to hold on to, I love you, I miss you and I am looking forward until you come home. Until we speak or see one another I send you the Fathers blessing.

The kids loved the Grinch reference to the black banana. They're like, "You guys watched the Grinch? I didn't know he had a TV show..." Ha. No kids, just the 30 min cartoon.
Everyone's fine enough. Carter has epilepsy and Tourette Syndrome. Medication helps. I'm into Mindfulness more and more each day. Reading another book on it now. I've got Carter doing it to help calm his brain.
Ryker and Kemmer are fine. Peggy and Tanner both have the polychondritis stuff. Yuck. Oh well. Some of us get more rocks in our trick or treat bags than others.
Can't wait to see you again and do the ol' bro-bear hug! I've missed you, so keep on doing what you're doing. You're definitely stronger because of this and you'll make a difference when you're out.
