Very interesting - the bit of history of San Quentin and the Captain's Porch. I know we have talked briefly of your time there, but through your blog I am learning many new tidbits. I find them very interesting and look forward to reading more. I do hope a copy is being kept by you to be compiled into a book! :-)
I'm not sure if they tell you which blog the reply is made about. I just read the one about what a Christmas card is and all I can say is - WOW! You truly have a gift with words. I think some people send cards each year out of habit and I think that sometimes those that receive them take it for granted. You eloquently put the true meaning of a Christmas card into words that anyone can understand. Hopefully, those who read this blog will look at those precious cards differently.

Your letters to me, your heart felt words and the beautiful man inside and out has bought a Ray of hope, sunshine and determination to move forward and excel .
