Sitting here in this cell during these dark hours of the night, a lover's moon shines bright through my window, casting our shadows behind me. <3

Baby sister - friends come and friends go but family lasts forever. Congratulations on your new marriage. Hope you can get home soon, love you sis.

There's an old African proverb: "When death finds you, may it find you alive." Singing oldies at the top of your voice. I love you, brother.

Everything I am and everyone I know will pass someday. I know this yet I still have strong attachments within my heart.

Aunt Alice: I've been getting your letters, it warms me to hear from you, to know that you are starting to get around better once again. Love you.

I have spent a lot of time with loneliness, feeling desperate to escape it, unable to move, always looking for distractions. I felt as if I were falling from the sky, as if one more breath would kill me.

Being in your heart fills my lungs with air.

#63: The fool who knows he is a fool is at least a little wise: the fool who thinks that he is wise is surely a fool.

I spend my time here alone, away from the noises and trouble of other souls. My alone time passes quickly as I lose myself in thought's daydream.

If you had to pick the one thing/person that always makes you smile, what/who is it?

"Animals are such agreeable friends - they pass no criticisms." George Eliot

You are the only one with whom I dare to be myself.

My single happiness in this life is the conviction that I am loved by you.

Ain't nailing no one to no cross no more, but they still want to gas a few.
