Up The Hill

You know that they fear us
Don't you, Jack?
And, Jill, why do they exterminate
Us, and not you?

We aren't even allowed advertisements
Saving accounts, checkbooks, money
But you... You must consume commercials
Billboards, spam to continue

To buy and sell
Or become criminal
The dividing line between
Lemming and rebel

The ruling class knows it's coming
Building prisons using hate criminal
Propaganda. Embracing fringe elements
But you can't lock up the millions
With feelings

To rise up doesn't mean to tune on
When those holding you down
Control the stations. To give up
Wanting to be popular - it's
When chains and torture
Go viral

Give up. Stop. Do you dare?!!
To grow unpopular hairstyles
Forsake colleges, mortgages
Amerikkan futures
For the future?

Overload the system
Force the oppressors to oppress
To press, press and press
Then pull them flat on their overworked
Pig faces

To tune out means to
Acquire the fear
The uneasiness of those
Controlling popular

To live means to die to normalcy
Civilization progresses uncivilly
And the rich came tumbling after
