Why is there so much violence and innocent bloodshed happening around the country? Our local news (Sacramento) is often eclipsed by the horrible news of carnage occurring in some other state. What in the world is going on out there?!
As for the Einstein quote above, which I've always applied as a plumb line when considering the merits of social and/or religious arrangements which intend to enslave vulgarians with demagogic fabrications... well, Einstein would understand what's going on in this transitional era of discord, if anyone could.
If I were to proffer a relative assessment I'd say the predacious forces of Nature serve to control the spread of diseased weaker forces - be they of the Mineral, Vegetable or Animal Kingdoms. Likewise with the spread of an unnatural democratic disease, I'd say. Such socialist aspirations are bound to be dysfunctional... and that phenomena in nature provokes predatory behavior. Unfortunately within a stupefied Christian culture, our mutated human nature is still prone to strike-out, yet - blindly, as it were... unable to identify the culprit of our frustration. Alas, we see ferociousness misdirected.
