Well folks, it will soon be summer and your lives will be very active out there... and consequently, I will be receiving even less mail. Or, that is, I hope that I'm not receiving much mail because your lives are just too busy being lived.
If that is indeed the case then I'm smiling compassionately when I suggest you take moments in your very active lives to smell the roses, as it were... Be sure to MAKE moments where you recognize and appreciate the many blessings you enjoy in life. And remember:
When you open the door for someone else,
You open one for yourself.
As for my plight in this realm of barred doors; the long summer days make me mindful of the good times I've enjoyed out there once upon a time - long long ago. This is why I'm suggesting the above appreciation for all the blessings you enjoy. Cherish them... every one!
If you'd like to share the wealth of your blessed life, then by all means write me a few lines every once in awhile... and send me a few pictures if you can. If nothing else, maybe it's easier for you to bless me simply by honoring the attached Walkenhorst wish list. The items listed will certainly be appreciated - all the more if there were food items added too. :)
