Pride 2013 5-28-13

Equality can be the biggest battle one can fight for
One thing's for sure though, you can't fight behind a
Closed door

Waiting for others to take on your fight, staying silent,
How will they even know your plight.
Come! Join with us, you beautiful crowd
Why not now, it's time to be
Proud!

Each and every one has something to share
Please extend your hand and show
That you care

Be that as it may - be that as it might
Finally we're seeing the rewards
Of our righteous fight

Remember when they try to make you feel disgrace
Hold your heads up - it will be the haters
Saving face

So as we come to the end of this race
Please, dear sisters and brothers, keep up
Your pace

Just so everyone here knows, I love the ones
Who came before
They gave me the courage, to kick down my
Door.
