Friday May 24, 2013 11:31am: Just been sitting here messing with some art. I was hoping to go to rec today, but that didn't happen. I wrote two churches this morning who wrote me rejection letters. These churches are cold hearted. They've been infiltrated by Satan. I've got some more writing to do. Maybe they will take me to rec this afternoon. I won't hold my breath. I'm just going to pass the day and look forward to seeing my mom tomorrow. This crap where this idiot upstairs is bullying this old man is really bothering. Went to sleep thinking about it. Woke up thinking about it. I hate cowards who pick on or beat on people because they know they can. Blood pressure just went sky high writing that. I can't go to rec with everyone so I can't do anything about it. Elmer has 4 days to live. Billy has just over 2 weeks. Next week we will know if they sign another warrant and try to keep this 2 a month execution going. Well, I'm going to do some writing.
1:39pm: Well, they beat me out of recreation again. I'm going to have to talk to the captain about this. See if I can get this straightened out where I get my recreation.
4:53pm: Waiting on dinner. Got my cell light turned out, now I can't get it back on. But I'd rather it be out than on. 'Cause it's hard to sleep with that light on all the time. After dinner we have showers, mail call and bed. And it can't come quick enough 'cause I'm sleepy. Well, I'm going to lay back and watch the news until dinner.

Saturday May 25, 2013: 7:57am: Just finished bathing, and waiting on my visit. It'll be another 45 minutes to an hour until they come to get me. I wrote one letter. Now I'm going to lay back and watch Good Morning America.
9:29am: Not sure what's going on. Mom still hasn't shown up. I know there's a lot of people showing up this weekend. Maybe she's having problems getting in. I'm starting to worry something happened.
4:00pm: Got back from the visit about 30 minutes ago. I didn't get out there until almost 10am. They just didn't call me. It wasn't crowded, there was only about 24 of us out there. I need to do some writing. I ate too much! I need to stop doing that. I need to do some reading as well. I got some Christian books in last night. Just little handbooks, but I want to read them, especially this one on Seventh Day Adventists.

Sunday May 26, 2013 7:22am: Just sitting here watching the news. Going to bathe here in a bit and get ready for visits. After that I may start a letter to Dina. When I come back from visit I'm going to finish watching the Indy 500 and finish a letter or two. Watch some of the Coca Cola 600 before going to sleep.
3:29pm: I had a nice visit. It was really crowded. And tomorrow it's going to get even worse. I'm fixing to lay down and relax for awhile and then write a letter.
5:02pm: Wrote Dina. Fixing to lay down and watch TV and call it a day. I talked to some members of FDRAG, which is Florida Death Row Advisory Group, and they're needing help with donations, new members etc. So if anyone would like to they can go over to the FDRAG website and join. Well, Elmer has 3 days to live. My heart goes out to him. I also understand the victim's family's side wanting revenge. Wanting to exchange evil act for evil act. Believe me, I know, I have an evil vengeful heart. Look how I went after Warden Reddish. Time to lay down.

Monday May 27, 2013 5:08am: Just sitting here watching the news, waiting on breakfast. I need to do some writing this morning before I go to visit. I need to wash some clothes. I'll do that when I come back.
8:02am: Just finished bathing. Fixing to listen to music and wait for them to come get me for visitation.
3:49pm: Had a real good visit. Seen a lot of guys I haven't seen in awhile. Came back and laid down for a few minutes. Got showers tonight. After showers I'm going to sleep, so I hope they do showers back to front. Tomorrow I'm going to start a workout program and I'm going to stick to it.
4:37pm: The power keeps going on and off. Not sure what this is all about. Wish they would get it fixed. There's a lot of talk out there today about this new bill, see the back of this to read about it. Looking like a lot of guys are fixing to die. I heard there's 105 names on that list. Exchange evil for evil, exactly what Christianity is against. But this really isn't a Christian country. This country is evil to the core, a Satanic nation, and that's the cold hard truth. Well, I'm fixing to write a card to my mom and then lay back, wait on showers, and call it a day.

FLORIDA
Bill to speed up executions passes legislature

On April 29, the Florida Senate voted 28 to 10 in favor of the "Timely Justice Act", a bill that sets parameters for attorneys representing death row defendants to file appeals. The Florida House passed the bill the previous week with a vote of 84 to 34.

Critics of the bill say that in a state that has had the largest number of wrongfully convicted and exonerated death-sentenced prisoners in the country (24), speeding up executions might lead to the execution of innocent people. Since reinstating the death penalty in 1976, 75 prisoners have been executed in Florida, while 24 people have been exonerated - many well after serving more than 10 years on death row. The Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops has been a critic of the bill. Michael McCarron, executive director of the conference, said the conference hoped the legislature would vote upon the bill after the Florida Supreme Court's Capital Post-Conviction Proceedings Subcommittee completed its recommendations to improve the overall efficiency of the capital post-conviction process. He added the conference is concerned "changes to accelerate appeals will result in the wrongful killing of an innocent person". "It is a frightening prospect that we would wrongfully kill an innocent person because an expedited appeal precluded critical information from being considered", McCarron said.

Florida has 400 men and five women on death row, and Elmer Leon Carroll is scheduled to be executed May 29. Backers of the bill say that 155 of the death row inmates have been there for more than 20 years, and 10 have been there more than 35 years. The conference said potentially 13 Florida Death Row prisoners have concluded their executive clemency appeals and are eligible for execution.
