Hello. My name should be DAD
ON FATHER'S DAY: BEHIND BARS IN 2013

There are a good number of fathers in prison; some that don't ever deserve to ever see their children again, those even, whose crimes are against children - but there are some, like myself, that if freed right now, would make a great dad.

It's just unfortunate that jury tampering was allowed at my trial, leading to a wrongful conviction and vindictive sentencing.

Prison is a very sad little world. A place where the slum get to rule, both from within the cells, and from outside them. I try to avoid them, the lowly guards and the inmates of Inferno. There are no guides, no light in any direction, only depth and sorrow. I have no hope of getting out of this mess until I either come across more money, or someone willing to help. The legal system itself will always remain self-serving, and only a few attorneys actually brave against it - I've not met one yet.

Most are cookie-cutter "yes" men or women, made by the system to serve the system. Don't think so? Prove me wrong. Because not one "lawyer" has looked over my case in its entirety. Not one. And until one does, justice is mocked by the jury tampering that was allowed at my trial by desperate individuals that knew no evidence has been provided to show cause for any type of guilty verdict for the crime which I had not done.

The truth hurts, and that's why they resorted to such sad pathetic tactics as attempting - and succeeding - at the wrongful influence of jurors. The judge even had to REMOVE some of the jurors, but due to his errors and my ineffective lawyers, the trial was not properly declared a mistrial as the law clearly states that it was.

And now, this DAD, has to endure father's day, after father's day, after birthday, after every single holiday, of every passing year - out of reach of my five children.

If the state was so sure of their case, why were such immoral and illegal tactics used in court? And why do they gear the idea of doing the trial again.

It's because they fear the truth.
The truth ... would set me free!
And this father, could again be a dad.

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post. I hope that one day you will be reunited with your children and be a dad once more.

You will always be their Dad. In the age of the internet, it's so much easier to reach out. Just offer what you can - even if it's just what you say in these posts. When you offer what you can - it's enough - because it's all that you have.

That's love: offering what you have.
