ANTICIPATION FROM WITHIN
___________________________

As the years pass, those of us with actual discipline enough to do anything start to amass a list of accomplishments. I see many prisoners who have wasted decades of life doing absolutely NOTHING; and, to say that the prison is a rehabilitating them—is a joke. Prison security guards of all ranks are just sitting around collecting a paycheck. So as half a lifetime passes, and the prisons go through countless directors, administrators, and staff, the prisoner is left unchanged, only older, and more bitter.

I am in my 40s now, and as my older kids keep me updated on their lives and the lives of all my grandchildren, I see them all at that youthful learning stage. The best part of life, I think, and I am thankful for all of my own experiences and am glad to see them enjoying that part of life also.

I repeatedly stepped outside of the South Carolina Prisons' methods of "inmate warehousing for profit" method of simply locking people away and doing nothing else. Oh, they put on a good show to the public, but rehabilitation is not a goal for South Carolina. If it were, they would be doing it and have a full parole system in place to back it up. For all charges, even murder and the like. I look forward to the day when those in charge now are gone. Either retired, moved on, or behind bars themselves.

It makes me glad that I have not wasted a single year of my life. It's with gleeful and warranted anticipation that I look forward to the fruits of all my labors. In the end, no one is judged by what they've done, per se—they are judged by who they are. No one can control our narrative but us.

It's not good to stand by and watch time go by...

I notice in my research South Carolina is one of the most corrupt places in America. They have a lot of police fired every week somewhere in that state and even prosecutors and sheriff's who get caught and arrested. I am going to write you a letter, and send you a card and info of a good attorney that can help you that will also give a big discount. Stay safe in there. Society needs more people like you.
