My Perfect Woman

Would be one of imperfections. Her eyes could tell tales of love; of family; and friends that have stayed friends when water has risen, almost sinking the ship. She wouldn't use a scale in her expectations. Her body wouldn't have to be any certain way. Her beauty would rest through loving even those that society considers of lower standards. Her reputation proceeds her, like grandma's chocolate chip cookies.

This woman, people would say, I was talking about an angel. And if I did not know her, I would agree. But I know this lovely lady is flesh, but in my heart, she's angelic and a counselor to my soul. Perhaps a bit out of my league.

Poetry

What kind of window
Can I open eternally?
And could I close it back?
Wisdom never needs to cash out
Especially if it's not scary questions
Its guiding tips is held in Biblical lingo
We all must choose the ring we will fight in
It's bullish spiritual warfare

To win we must begin!
