1/2 Black, 1/2 Piano

Trapped in a prison cell
Jonez'n for these ebonyz and ivoryz
inside of me, livez a passion to get high and free

Stop look'n at me like I've lost my damned mind
Just read between these lines
of the signs, of this dark time

As soon as I got to death row
the demons tried
And Jesus said he'd never leave me, redeemption lied

Not understanding the dynamics
this lethal hex
if Im correct about mathematic's
My numbers next

Before I leave this planet, damn it
poison my heart
until then, 1/2 Black, 1/2 Piano in the dark
