Right Away
By: LeVar E. Jones

My Father in Heaven, it's me again. Your child, LeVar.
I thank you for getting me through thus far.
This road has been rough, this road is tough,
but I think I'd done had enough.
For I have found my talent, for You were right there,
through all the turmoil, chaos, and all the despair.
I'm calling on You 'cause I feel like giving up,
and I need you right away to come and lift me up.
I have prayed and prayed. Is my faith not that great?
Or do good things really come to those who really wait?
Satan got a hold on me and won't let me go,
saying You don't hear me and I reap what I sow.
Don't know why, I don't know what to do.
That's why I'm taking the time out to come to You.
Please show me the way, please hold my hand,
please guide me, and I thank You for me being a better man.
If it weren't for You, I would've probably quit,
probably gave up on life, probably sliced my wrists.
To know that You're there whenever I call
to help change my mind when I wanted to end it all.
So I thank You, Lord, for all of the help.
Knowing I can't trust Man or anybody else.
I need You not another second or another day.
Just like the 911 dispatcher, I need You right away!
