Misery Loves Company By LeVar E. Jones

Oh no! not you again, what do you want from me?
Every time I find happiness, here comes Misery.
I don't need you right now, I got peace of mind,
and why do you bring you friend, frustration every time?
I don't like him! this ain't no family reunion,
who do you think you are? what are you doing?
You've already taken my joy and my virtue,
Misery, you need to leave before I hurt you!
You've taken my courage, most importantly my patience,
my kindness too, hey ref! that foul was flagrant.
I can't stand you, got me stranded in my nightmares,
can't even relax cause you're always right there
Get off my back already, just leave me be,
take frustration and your cousin Anger, then flee.
Go mess with someone else, go to the cell next door,
take your damn demons, cause I can't take no more
want to meditate in silence, and stare at the moon,
while in solitude smelling my letters full of perfume.
I can't take your stubborn ass, so go over there.
Guard! Guard! Come get this jackass out of my cell
Misery loves company, especially when you're in jail!

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post. Enjoyed reading this, especially like the lines,
"Go mess with someone else, go to the cell next door,
take your damn demons, cause I can't take no more
want to meditate in silence, and stare at the moon,
while in solitude smelling my letters full of perfume."

which have a fantastic rhythm.

Peace, J
