The Rainy Tribe Address

Read by Prince Raylon:
Wow, what's up everybody? And welcome to the future!
I love all of you, doing my best to come home.
Let me give God's praise and props first.

To the Queen Mother Trudi and Mr. Grant, glad you are able to see the start of our new family culture of togetherness being shared with and for our New Generation Rising before your very eyes.

To our OG, the leadership, the first male seed born from our queen, Glover "Big Man". Every tribe of humans, band of animals, and all living organisms have an alpha male. It is my honor to call you big bro, and thank you for your wisdom and leadership. New Generation Rising towards you.

All in favor say I!

Read by Princess RaéShawna:
It's so much that I want to say: I will start with the slave ship and rap verse I wrote for all of you to see every time any of you come to our new family blog: betweenthebars.org/NewGenerationRising.

This rap verse is most of the news of a new generation of inner city youth that is now on California death row. We all chose to reach back to the streets and to our families, to show love and do our part to make sure that the new generation of our own individual families are always safe, cared for, and most importantly, connected. Our mission is to keep all of you out of jail.

Read by Brinetta:
I came up with this idea from thinking about how my youngest bro Willis was singlehandedly trying to bring our family together. The reason it never worked over the years is because we all was not helping Willis help us be united as one. Our apologies, Bro.

Willis, Bro, as you can see now, those days are over. We even had to call in reinforcements from Englewood. :) And our Princess Delora rushed to leadership position with Princess Johanna, Kelvin, Big Man. And the call was put out. Take a look at what you had in your brain way before we did. So look around, Bro, and enjoy the faces of our New Generation Rising towards in love.

All in favor say I!

Somebody click on the transcription feature button and transcribe what I have written. Print it out and send it to George "Lil' Man." We love, big bro. We do not rise as one without you. Our seeds are now meeting each other. We are bonding in love and, right now, the whole tribe is reading this as one. We are all sending you our love and respects. Lil' Man, the family is now waiting to hear from you. You can send your message to our family blog:

When you see the slave ships and my rap, you will know that you are in the right place. This is like an online non-stop family reunion. :) We are always together. I will see whatever you write or post in about a week. But the family will see it online ASAP.

No texting while driving. I repeat: NO TEXTING WHILE DRIVING!

Read by Jamar:
I'm requesting that Jamar read this page to our New Generation as everyone gathers in silence.

Our Queen Mother Trudi has given us two things:
#1 Knowledge of God, which is life.
#2 Music; life in vibration, in the universe, Heaven, and on Earth!

These must always continue to be the foundation in our family. Those of you who can sing, rap, dance, play instruments, and know your way around music computer software, or have a great appreciation for sound and can hear what the rest of the world can't hear—they will never be broke. Use your gift. Build together. Help each other.

Your world is always changing. Stay together, in song and in life. Support each other's ideas, no matter what. As long as you have access to a computer, your music will live forever. Be the writer, the producer of your own dreams. More on this in the future.

Read by Semiya:
If you are not working, you are going to school, or both, open your own bank accounts. Value your own line of credit. Find someone to love and live your life with. Stay healthy. Know our family's medical history information. Come on, black youth. Know more.

For example, being slim don't mean everything is all good. I'm a boxer and trainer of many, and I had no idea that my super healthy body had high cholesterol. I was months away from having a stroke. The doctors said one or both of my parents had it, so all of the diet and exercise wasn't enough. So I've been prescribed Lipitor—just like on the TV commercials. Stay healthy.

Read by Princess Shaonna Walton:
Get tested, get blood tested for everything. Know who you are. Ask our Queen about other family members and how they passed away because one day, one of your very own children might want to play sports or run track. What I'm saying is, let's do a family tree. Do it on paper. Right now, for starters.

Everybody must report in the following. Here's my example:

Name: Floyd Smith
Date of Birth: July 20, 1967
Parents: Floyd Smith (Father), Gertrude Rainey-Paige (mother)
Any preexisting medical conditions: spine bifatada, high cholesterol, enuersis
Children: Raylon Evans-Smith, RaéShawna Smith
Spouse: Melissa Evans-Smith

It's that easy. Kids, grandkids, new generation: it's important for your future to know your own history. Johanna will keep the info ya'll collect today. It's up to one of you youngstaz to reformat it and put it on our blog: New Generation Rising.

Read by O.G. Big Man:
The big question is: How far back can we go? What do our O.G.z know? Have ya'll heard about Uncle Harold? Aunt Sanche? Aunt Delores? What can our cousin Biny tell us about Debra? Aunt Georgy and Uncle Eleck?

Use this moment to know facts. Know about who we are. I am ashamed to admit that I don't even know my grandma Rainey's first name. I know Grandpa George. He ran the '76 Gulf gas station in Banning off Ramsey Street in the '50s and '60s.

From the slave ships, to our youngest seed, it's well overdue that we all mean something important to each other. Before everybody logs off of this blog today, each one of you can take the opportunity to let George and Floyd know that there is a new generation on the rise. We can't wait to hear from ya'll.

Love and respect to the first wave of angels in this tribe: Angie, Brigitte, Johanna, Emany, Carla, Faye, and Victoria, and Delora, and my soulmate Melissa. Keep us all ONE!
