Lost Inside

Lost Inside

I lay here trying to pray to a God I don't believe in.
Trying to find the words for something that will
Never happen.
Because how do you ask for love?
Or even pray for it?
When it's something you don't even know if you believe
In anymore.
Because my heart's been broken so many times.
It feels like a messed up jigsaw puzzle inside
That can never be put back together again.
So again I'm lost in dark thoughts
That will soon end up being my demise
When there's only loneliness inside
So I just stay behind these bars
Forever lost inside.
