TO MY SONG

Boop boop... boop boop... As I close my eyes, I begin to listen to a lovely song being played. Boop boop... boop boop... That's the sound of my heart beating loud and clearly. Boop boop... boop boop... That's the rhythm of my heart beating steadily against my chest. Boop boop... boop boop... That's the beating of the hollow muscular organ that by rhythmic contraction, keeps up circulation of the blood in the body. Boop boop... boop boop... That's the beating of my center: the essential part of my being, which keeps me alive. Boop boop... boop boop... The steady beating of my heart is strong despite the many individuals who have misused and mistreated it. Boop boop... boop boop... The steady beating of my heart is very powerful, despite it being broken on many different occasions. Boop boop... boop boop... The steady beating of my heart is magnificent, despite all the emotional wear and tear it has suffered.

Boop boop... boop boop... Even when it rains and pours, even through hurricanes and storms, my heart continues to beat strong. Boop boop... boop boop... boop boop... Even though this beat has gotten extra long, it doesn't seem wrong. Boop boop... boop boop... boop boop... boop boop... boop boop... As I close my eyes, I realize that our hearts have connected, and you have now added your beat to my song.
