SEEKING FRIENDSHIP

I just wanted to let those who read my entries know that I'm interested in finding people to write to for possible friendship. I don't care anything about your race, religion, sex or sexual orientation, political affiliations, etc. The only thing that matters to me is that you're sincerely interested in having someone to write to, and possibly even becoming friends.

If you're interested in learning more about me, I do have a profile with my blog, which includes both a short, written description about me, as well as a small picture. If there's anything you want to know that's not listed there, feel free to ask in your letter.

I realize that introductory letters can be very difficult to write, but I assure you that you have nothing to worry about. No matter what you say, or how short your letter is, I promise to answer it the very same day I receive it. Just do me a favor and put in, at a minimum, your name, contact information and message that you read my blog and would like to be pen pals. If sharing a physical mailing address is a concern and you don't have a post office box, send me an e-mail to shawnlperrot@hotmail.com where a friend of mine will download, print and snail mail it to me, and I'll send him my response, where he'll scan and upload it as a .pdf file to e-mail to you.

I'd like to think that, despite the popularity of instant communications such as e-mail, instant messages and Tweets, that there are people who still receive a thrill of receiving an old fashioned snail mail letter. I know that I do, and should you be one of these people, then I look forward to our correspondence.
