1. California prison guard Ryan Patrick Wenker filed a false disability claim to his back and was forced to pay $5000 in a restitution and spend 45 days. The news was posted on Facebook April 9, 2013.
2. On March 21, 2013, a Georgian jail guard was arrested after he allegedly had sex with a male prisoner. Needless to say, he was relieved of duty.
3. A Hawaiian prison guard, Irwin Ah Hoy, was indited for sexual assault on March 21, 2013 but still employed while waiting to stand trial. Looks like he may get more time looking for more helpless victims.
4. Gary Miller of Indiana was sentenced to a 3 year suspended sentence. On April 2013, he pled guilty to sexual affairs with one of the prisoners that he was supposed to guard. Another black eye for the male population.
5. Roberto Guiller Escobedo, a guard at an Idaho Correctional Institution, was arrested on March 14, 2013 for sexual contact with a prisoner.
6. A Tennessee prisoner guard was arrested on July 28, 2013. Derek Wayne Turner (38) pled guilty to smuggling in contraband into the facility in exchange for cash.
