I understand your poem. I can relate to some of it; a lot of what you said hit me. Real nice. Me being in prison, I understand that these people want to strip away my identity when I am in a bad situation. I away make it much worse than what it all really is. I hope someday someone would look at me as a human that made bad decisions, but still have some good qualities. If people just take the time to get to know us, they might like what they see or hear. A lot of people judge book by its cover and never take the time to read the contents in that book. I hope this poem is left up.
Winner
Life is a fight, so ignore those
who try to discourage you
from achieving your goal
in life.
Make it known to the world
that you are a fighter
and
you refuse to allow anyone to
come between your dreams,
break you down,
take control of your destiny.
Visualize that perfect unique future
and run to that one perfect destination
and never look back.
Believe in yourself.
Understand yourself.
Go for what you want in life.
Seek and own it.
Never give up hope
'cause
you are a winer.
