Taking Care of All My Loose Ends

Greetings.

As you know I was told on March 4th, 2014 that I wo—
let out of the SHU. After 30 years, they are finally—
to give me a little breathing room.

I'm both excited and kind of sad. I must leave a lot—
friends behind. They have to wait for their turn—
All of them are being let out. One of them who ha—
in SHU was put in Step-2, making him stay anothe—
three years in SHU. He should of been let out with m—
We been in SHU here 25 years together and before—
were in San Quentin Sate Prison SHU. And then—
And now I must leave him behind along with other fr—
are happy for me though. Bu they are like my broth—
I'm sad. I am also looking around at my cell and th—
how I will not be in it much longer. I went to the—
looked up to the sky above the tall wall. I will not h—
looking up anymore. It's going to be different fo—
and I can't lie, I feel like I'm leaving home. The on—
can remember, I can close my eyes and I know every—
the cell and yard and know where everything is—

I'm getting all my stuff together and finishing up a—
things I have unfinished.

One thing good: I will be close to where I grew up in S—
I figure I'll see my mom's house as i pass down the hi—
