Lesbians
Like fields of beautiful poppies
Springing up everywhere
Will there be a woman for me
In the open—hand in hand?
A beautiful public spectacle
I wish my hand clasped with one
Dumb men encourage women to thre(illegible)
Losing yet another possibility
When will I catch a beauty?
Will they all go unto their own?
God forbid such a disaster
I just need one
Even a rebounding lesbian
